Is Superdrol legal in the UK? That’s a common question among people looking to supplement with prohormones. Superdrol is probably one of the best known prohormones ever and has been attributed by many lifters to improving strength and muscle size. But is Superdrol legal in the UK?
If you live in the UK, you’re in luck when it comes to prohormones. The law on prohormone supplementation is fairly relaxed. It’s legal to buy, sell and use most prohormones and designer steroids. Check out our factsheet for more information.

But (and this is a big ‘but’) that doesn’t mean that every single compound or prohormone is legal to buy and sell in the UK. So is Superdrol one of them?
Is Superdrol Legal in the United Kingdom?
First up, here’s a bit of science for you. Superdrol is a ‘trade’ (or street) name for a designer steroid called Methasterone. It’s a potent steroid which is administered orally – in pill or capsule form.
It’s a methylated compound which makes it more toxic, especially to your liver and kidneys. Superdrol is a Class III drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 being a derivative of the steroid Drostanolone (Schedule 2, Part III, Paragraph 1 – Source)
The active compound in Superdrol is 2a, 17a Dimethyl Etiocholan 3-One, 17b-Ol and as a Class III drug, you’re not going to find this on sale over the counter in the UK. However there are similar products with the similar ingredients to Superdrol. These are called ‘clones’.
A prohormone or designer steroid clone mimics the original compound closely. Good clones produce identical effects to the original product. If you’re thinking this is sounding promising then you’d be right. Clones of Superdrol are legal and available to buy in the U.K.
Unfortunately if you live in the U.S., Superdrol is on a list of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned substances and is likely to stay there. Alternatives exist – if you can find them. Check out this article for more.
Where to Buy Superdrol Clones in the UK
Ok, so we’ve established that while you will not able to buy Superdrol legally in the UK, you can buy clones of it legally and over the counter. But where?

I’d also suggest doing a full and comprehensive on cycle support regime and a full course of post cycle therapy after Methdrol. It’s strong stuff and definitely isn’t for beginners.
Summary – Legal Superdrol in the UK?
So, we’ve learned that the UK laws on prohormones and designer steroids are quite relaxed (for now). While Superdrol is a Class III drug and therefore illegal in the UK, clones of Superdrol exist.
Clones are slight variances on the original compound and good ones have similar effects. One of these is Fusion Methdrol which I’ve personally used myself with good effect. Fusion Methdrol is legal in the UK.
